At our practice we welcome new NHS dentistry patients, both adults and children. We offer a full range of NHS dentist services to help you maintain the best possible oral health, including treating and preventing decay, fillings, root canal treatment, and routine dental check-ups.
When you arrive for your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a medical history questionnaire and sign an NHS treatment form. Your dentist will conduct a thorough check-up of your teeth, gums and mouth and will take any x-rays as necessary.
If you require further treatment, your dentist will provide you with a full treatment plan along with relevant fees. Treatments include:
- General dental check-up
- Fillings
- X-rays
- Root canal treatment
- Treatment for gingivitis (gum disease)
- Scale and polish
- Tooth extraction
- Crowns
- Bridges
- Referral for Orthodontic treatments such as braces (when there is a clinical need)
In some cases patients may be entitled to free NHS dental treatment – please discuss this with the practice when making your appointment.
Cosmetic treatments (when there is no clinical need for treatment) are not available on the NHS. The practice does also offer private cosmetic treatments such as tooth whitening, and if you are interested in this treatment the costs would be added to your NHS dental fees.
We are committed to giving all patients a comfortable and welcoming experience from the moment they contact the practice, with welcoming reception staff and top quality equipment. Our team is trained to the highest standard and always strives for excellence, regularly refreshing and adding to their skills with workshops and continuing education courses.
